What services do you offer and what is the cost?

Simone offers bridal hair styling and makeup. She has a package that includes four people for hair OR makeup. If you require both the maximum people would be two. For further information please have a look at her price list. Services include:

How do I get in touch to make a booking?

The most effective way to get in touch with Simone is by using the contact form on this website, or sending an email to simonesaint.mua@gmail.com.

What information should I send?

By including all of the info below she can deal with enquiries more efficiently:

  • Your name (or the name of the client if you are booking for someone else);

  • Date that the services are required for;

  • The time that you or the client need to be ready for;

  • Name and address of the venue where our services are required;

  • The actual services required (e.g. hairstyling, makeup or both) and for how many people;

  • Any important information we should be made aware of, such as a particular makeup and/or hairstyle that is required, if there are any specifics about your/the client’s skin that are important, if there are any sensitivities to particular products, etc..

How do I secure my booking?

All enquiries will be held provisionally for 24 hours from time of enquiry. Once she has received all the information needed a non-refundable booking fee of £60.00 will be taken to secure your appointment. Only when this has been paid is your booking confirmed. This payment will be deducted from your final bill. Payments can be made through a bank transfer.

What is your cancelation and refund policy?

Your deposit is non-refundable.

If you cancel your booking 12 weeks prior to your wedding date she will require you to pay 50% of the remaining balance.

If you cancel 6 weeks prior to your wedding date 100% of your remaining balance is required.

In unforeseen circumstances of emergency or severe illness Simone will try her best to find a replacement artist/stylist of equal standards. Different rates and conditions may apply. The artist/stylist will be fully briefed and all trial notes and photos will be passed on. Should the unlikely events occur all fees will be fully refunded.

When/Why should I book a trial?

Trials can be booked as far in advance as required. Most brides have them around 3 months before the wedding day. All looks are photographed and documented and products used are noted to ensure the chosen look is replicated perfectly on the big day.

Makeup and hair trials are not just for the purpose of working out the perfect look but also to ensure there are no skin reactions or sensitivities to the products used. It is, however, the client’s responsibility to inform her should any reaction occur after the trial so that she can avoid the use of the product(s) that caused it.

Makeup trials usually take up to 1/1.5 hours and hair trials the same again. Simone will ensure to stay with you until you are satisfied with your look however if you’re not yet fully satisfied with your look after this time you’ll have to book a repeat trial which is at the same cost as the initial trial.

How long does Bridal Hair and Makeup usually take?

Simone likes to allow an hour per person per service and have everyone ready an hour before the ceremony. For a party of four hair OR makeup Simone will be with you a total of five hours. Please keep in mind if you have a larger party or if you have an early ceremony time a second stylist may be required.

Once a bridal trial has taken place and other party members looks have been discussed a more accurate time scale can be given.

If bridal parties are more than two people Simone always recommends that she does either Hair or Makeup on your wedding day not both. It’s important that the morning of your wedding flows well in order to create a calm environment. Having a makeup artist AND hair stylist for bigger parties allows everyone to alternate between hair and makeup allowing the process to be quick and efficient.

How far do you travel and is there extra costs involved?

Simone will travel to any location in Aberdeen / Aberdeenshire for your special day. Please send an email to discuss things further if your wedding is out with this area. Any single journey that is over an hour away will have an extra cost.
